احتجاجات في الولايات المتحدة بعد مقتل أسود برصاص الشرطة

اندلعت احتجاجات عنيفة، الثلاثاء، في ولاية بنسلفانيا الأمريكية إثر مقتل رجل من ذوي البشرة السوداء برصاص شرطة الولاية.

وبحسب عائلة الضحية، فإن الأخير الذي يدعى وولتر واليس، ويبلغ من العمر 27 عاما كان يعاني من "مشاكل عقلية"، وقالت إنه قتل برصاص الشرطة.

بدورها، قالت الشرطة إن عمليتها جاءت إثر بلاغ تلقته الإثنين عن رجل مسلح بسكين. 

وتداولت وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي مقطعا مصورا يظهر تعرض واليس لـ10 طلقات رصاص على الأقل بعد أن سار تجاه ضابطي شرطة، حيث صرخ الأخيران عليه أن يرمي السكين من يده، قبل أن يطلقا النار عليه؛ لكن لم يظهر في المقطع المصور أي سكين بيد الضحية.

وأدت حادثة مقتل واليس إلى احتجاجات في المدينة استخدم خلالها العنف وعمليات نهب، ما أسفر عن إصابة بعض عناصر الشرطة.

واستنكر والد واليس، الحادثة، وقال إن ابنه كان يعاني "من مشاكل عقلية"، متسائلا لماذ تم إطلاق النار عليه بدلا من استخدام أساليب تحييد أخرى.
