جامعة أمريكية تحاول منع الصحافة من تغطية تظاهرة طلابية ضد الاحتلال (فيديو)

حاولت جامعة كولومبيا في الولايات المتحدة، التعتيم الإعلامي على تظاهرة كبيرة داعمة للشعب الفلسطيني، ومناهضة لجرائم الاحتلال داخل الحرم الجامعي.

وقال الصحفي كريس ماكغريل؛ إن الجامعة منعت الصحفيين من الدخول إلى الجامعة، لمنعهم من تغطية التظاهرة الطلابية المناهضة للاحتلال، الإسرائيلي، بذريعة عدم التأثير على الأجواء الآمنة وبيئة العمل".

وعقب انتقادات من الصحفيين واحتجاجات ضد الجامعة، قال ماكغريل؛ إن الجامعة غيرت رأيها، وقالت؛ إنها ستستوعب الصحافة من خارجها.

ونفذ مئات الطلبة تظاهرة كبيرة، رفعت فيها الأعلام الفلسطينية، وحملوا فيها لافتات تصف الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بمجرم الحرب، فضلا عن هتافات مؤيدة لفلسطين وضد المجازر التي ترتكب بحق أهل غزة.

وتعرض عدد من الطلبة للتهجم من قبل داعمي الاحتلال في الجامعة، الذين وقفوا على مقربة منهم وهم يرفعون علم الاحتلال للتشويش عليهم.
